Jan and Sam's trip to Erwin, TN for the 2002 Blue Ridge Show

WeWeWe arrived in Erwin Wednesday, October 2nd. We stopped in and greeted old friends at Maxie English's Blue Ridge Pottery store on Union Street in Erwin. We also had time to visit Kingsport that day where we found a very pretty platter painted by a Blue Ridge artist. That evening one of our friends who lives near Erwin hosted a gathering for visiting collectors and sellers. In her home she has a wonderful array including many children's pieces… what a pleasure to get to see this most astonishing collection! Some pictures of her collection and some of the folks who attended appear from the second row on down. We do have higher resolution versions of these photos if you would like one. Just e-mail us at (sglw@aol.com or janrobts@aol.com ) and let us know. This, by the way, is page one of three
